My Little Goat

 I watched a short film called My Little Goat. Initially, I watched it without subtitles and I was a little confused because I thought that the little boy was supposed to be with them. I thought they were all raised as brothers, moreover that he was the only one that made it, I thought the others died. But after watching again, the mother mistook the little boy for her son and only the real toruku died. For an animated short film, it was kind of gory. Regardless, the end was cute because the real brothers took him in and tried to fight off the wolf. I wonder what actually happened to the boy because I get that his dad was the wolf but I wonder if he knew of his father and what happened to his mother?
